Your Green Egg BBQ can be left outside all year round without any problems. Thanks to the unique ceramic, the BBQ can withstand various weather conditions very well. The ceramic does not rust or oxidize, which is why Big Green Egg gives a lifetime guarantee on the ceramic parts.
Can I fit multiple Big Green Eggs in one Roostr outdoor kitchen?
Yes, this happens more often than you think. Many owners, for example, combine a Large with a Mini Max for different cooking methods. A Rubix Duo or Triple setup offers space for two BGEs side by side, or a combination with gas or a pizza oven.
Can you leave a Green Egg outside?
Yes. Big Green Egg offers a lifetime warranty on the ceramic and can withstand any Dutch winter. Roostr is made of stainless steel with a three-layer powder coating and is resistant to frost, rain, UV radiation, and temperature fluctuations. Both products are designed to be left outdoors year-round.
Does Roostr also offer a warranty on the outdoor kitchen itself?
Yes: 10 years on material and construction, 5 years on coating and mechanics, 5 years on the outdoor kitchen as a whole. Big Green Egg also provides a lifetime warranty on the ceramic of the Egg.
Can a Green Egg be used under a patio cover?
Yes, a Big Green Egg can certainly be placed under a patio cover. Because the lid can be closed, the Green Egg retains smoke and heat better than an open BBQ or pizza oven. Never use it in a completely enclosed space without air circulation.
